My simple ceremony is a budget friendly ceremony which offers that little bit more than the legals only service. The simple ceremony follows a pre designed format with limited options for variation from the format.
This package is not available if you are using a commercial venue (a winery for example) for your ceremony.
Format of The Simple Ceremony
House Keeping
This is where I get your guests attention and bring order to the occasion.
Processional
This is where one or both of you make your way to the wedding area usually accompanied by some music.
Welcoming
This is where I welcome your guests to your wedding and introduce myself as the official celebrant.
Giving Away
One, both or neither of you. The choice is yours.
Introduction
This is where I talk about you and the life you’ve built together. The questionnaire at the back of this booklet is designed to help me put together this information.
The Monitum
I must legally say this before the vows.
The Asking
This is simply me asking you if you want to be married.
Vows
Minimum Vows are:
I call upon these persons here present to witness that I, (Full Name) take thee, (Full Name) to be my lawful wedded wife (or Husband or Spouse).
Personalised vows can be included at this point.
Ring Exchange
One, both or none.
Pronouncing
I need to know how you’d like to be announced, husband & wife? Partners in Marriage? Spouses?
Signing of the certificates
Music is good at this point. You need two witnesses.
Congratulations and recessional
This is the time I round things up before sending you into wedded bliss. Music is good at this point.
